What We Do

Built for the ones in command

01

Represent

The exclusive bargaining representative for Bargaining Unit 605. Wages, hours, benefits, and working conditions negotiated and enforced for every chief officer.

02

Protect

Representation in investigations, interviews, discipline, and grievances, with legal counsel when it is needed. No chief officer goes into the room alone.

03

Develop

Legal briefings, leadership conferences, and mentorship built for public safety command, and the leadership, direction, and counsel the Association has offered every member of the Department since 1976.

04

Unite

Monthly meetings, Day at the Races, Dodgers Night, the golf tournament, and the traditions that keep the command staff one team.

The Association of Chiefs, the certified representative of Bargaining Unit 605, exists so that the chief officers of the Los Angeles County Fire Department are represented with a strength equal to the responsibility they carry.
