Register

Membership in the Association of Chiefs is open to the chief officers of the Los Angeles County Fire Department in the classifications assigned to Bargaining Unit 605, across the Fire, Lifeguard, and Forestry Sections, including chiefs serving in an acting or temporary assignment in one of those classifications. Deputy Fire Chiefs and other Department executives who are not eligible for General membership may apply as Associate Members, and retired chief officers who were members in good standing at retirement are welcome as Retirees.

Register with a personal email address and a cell phone; county-issued email addresses and landlines cannot be used. You will confirm your email address, and your cell phone if you choose to receive texts, and the Executive Board activates your account once your membership is verified.

1. Membership type
2. About you
Optional for retirees, but it helps us match you to past rosters.
Choose the classification you occupy, including an acting or temporary assignment in it.
3. How to reach you
County-issued and .gov addresses are not accepted. We will send a confirmation link here.
For the membership roster and account recovery.

Leave this unchecked and we reach you by email only: sign-in and recovery codes come by email, and nothing is ever texted. Texts are not a condition of membership, and you can turn them on or off any time from My Profile.

Your mailing address is visible to the Executive Board only. Other members see your name, rank, status, and username; you decide later whether they can see your phone or email.

4. Your login
Letters and numbers only, 4 to 20 characters. Other members will see it, and only an administrator can change it later. You can also log in with your email address.
At least 12 characters. A phrase you will remember is stronger than a short jumble.
5. Agreements
Next: confirm your email, and your cell phone if you turned on texts.
